When You Qualify for a Refund

You are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if either of these conditions apply:

1. Backtest Results Cannot Be Replicated/Same

If the backtest results you get don't match the results shown on the product page using:

  • The same time period (e.g., if we show 2000-2025 October, you must use 2000-2025 October)
  • The same data provider (Norgate Data - US Stocks Diamond)
  • The same settings and parameters included in the strategy files
  • The same RealTest software version

Example: If the product page shows a backtest from 2000-2025 with 1.41% Sharpe Ratio and 20% max drawdown, and you get significantly different results using the exact same inputs, you qualify for a refund.

2. Code Contains Errors or Bugs

If the strategy code contains verifiable errors, bugs, or technical issues that prevent it from executing properly in RealTest, you qualify for a refund.

What Is NOT Covered

Refunds do NOT apply to the following situations:

  • Live trading performance - Backtests are historical. Live results will differ due to market conditions, execution, and slippage
  • Different account sizes - Larger or smaller capital than backtested may produce different results
  • Execution differences - Order fills, timing, slippage, and broker execution vary from backtests
  • Modified code or parameters - Any changes you make to the strategy
  • Different time periods - Testing the strategy on different dates than advertised
  • Different data sources - Using data providers other than Norgate Data
  • Market conditions - Changes in volatility, regime shifts, or market structure
  • Personal preferences - Change of mind, different trading style, or subjective opinions
  • Payment processing fees - Card fees and platform costs charged by external providers are non-refundable
  • Difficulty understanding the code - We provide code support, but learning curves are not grounds for refunds 
  • Custom performance metrics - Calculating Sharpe ratio, drawdown, or other metrics using different formulas
  • Or any other circumstances not explicitly listed in the 'When You Qualify for a Refund' section above.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund based on the conditions above, please email us at:

To request a refund, the buyer must provide (include in your email):

  • Your order number and purchase date
  • The specific issue (backtest discrepancy or code error)
  • Confirmation that you used the exact same settings, data provider, and time period
  • Their full RealTest script (.rts)
  • Their RealTest version number
  • Screenshots of Norgate data version
  • Screenshots of backtest results
  • A short explanation of the mismatch

We will review your request within 3-10 business days and issue a refund if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Important Disclaimers

Digital Products Cannot Be Returned

Once you download the strategy files and access the source code, the product cannot be "returned" in a traditional sense. Our refund policy is designed to protect you from inaccurate backtest claims or defective code, not from the inherent risks of trading.

Trading Involves Risk

All trading strategies involve substantial risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Live trading performance can and will vary based on market conditions, execution quality, data sources, account size, and countless other factors. These strategies are educational and research tools, not guarantees of profitability.

No Refunds for Live Trading Losses

We cannot and will not refund strategies based on live trading performance. Backtests are historical simulations. Real-world trading introduces variables (slippage, execution delays, market impact, regime changes) that cannot be perfectly replicated in backtests.
