A RealTest implementation of the McGinley Dynamic, a moving average variant developed by John R. McGinley in the 1990s. Unlike a fixed-period EMA or SMA, the McGinley Dynamic adjusts its speed based on market velocity, reducing whipsaw in slow markets while remaining responsive in fast ones.
